Family Nights - Create A Tradition
Every Wednesday we have family night. During the summer this seems to dissipate due to longer hours in the day and an abundance of activities but as it gets cooler we fall right back into the swing of things.
We take turns letting each family member pick out what we will have for dinner and what at-home activities we will do. Sometimes we play board games, other times we watch a video or play the Wii. I always win. Okay, I win most of the time. :)
Somewhere along the way the boys all began choosing pizza as dinner for the night. Only Ryan and I would choose something different. After a while, 
we chose pizza too. The boys love it and it is easy for us to prepare (Yay, Papa Murphys) so mom has more time to relax and enjoy the family.
We have also incorporated desert and other fun things into our weekly family night. It is just a great time to dedicate to each other and strengthen our bond as a family.
