So I just realized that voter registration deadlines are coming up VERY soon in a lot of states. If you are a person who is legally qualified to vote, register. The 2008 Election is freaking historic. You can vote however you want (it's your vote after all), but let your voice be heard. Even if your candidate has no chance whatsoever in your state, be a part of history and vote! If you don't like either major candidate, than go with a 3rd party's pick. Vote, vote, vote! But make sure you know the ins and outs of voter registration.
Speaking of voting, one day remains to vote in the Recipe War! Isis and PhysioProf have pulled out some fabulous fish dishes.
And, good science citizenship means considering helping out some of the most impoverished school systems in the US. Pick your favorite ScienceBlogger and find a project worth supporting. And honestly, if you have any ideas for me on incentives I could offer to help out the Donors Choose donations, let me know!
